The main hook is played on an open Dsus2 chord in the D minor key. There's about 10 notes in the lick, I think you're missing a few. The lick is also played in the B flat section of the progression throughout the song, usually when there's no vocals. The walking line at the end of the progression has equal timings between the notes, you're doubling the timing on the last two. Trey get's a lot of mileage out of the open high e string to let the hook resonate, very Neil Young style. This song is all about the hook, in my opinion the moments that go from the progression to the hook leading into "easy now" is the magic - which is why its critical to nail the walk down and the lick coming right off of it. Listen to the recent TAB versions from May. Dezron repeats the hook on bass, which is not how Phish played it but It's much stronger. Im guessing Mike's bassline will look more like this when Phish plays it again.
